This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for February 02, 2009:
This is the source of the modern use of the word mentor: a trusted friend, counselor or teacher, usually a more experienced person. [via Wikipedia.org]While I don't immediately feel like I've had many in my life I can recall just one--the last one. Reverend Carole Price was the minister at the Center for Spiritual Living when I first walked in. It was my first time in a Religious Science church and I felt so connected. It was l like she was talking to me. I immediately signed up for any class she was teaching and learned so very much from her. Since then she has retired but remains a very good friend and mentor still.
